How to get there:
By Car:
This property is located in a rather remote mountainous area, about 30 minutes from Mendrisio (13 km), at an altitude of 1,070 meters above sea level. To reach it by car, you must drive along a narrow, winding, paved mountain road. The road is not lit at night. The last 100 meters to the house are on an unpaved road. The mountain road is partially single-lane. If you encounter an oncoming vehicle, you may need to briefly reverse to reach the nearest spot where your vehicle can pass more easily.
By public transport:
The railway connects Capolago-Riva San Vitale with the summit of Monte Generoso. To reach our accommodation, please alight at the "Bellavista" stop. From there, a one-hour walk will lead you to our house called "Casa Monika Monte Generoso." Upon request and depending on availability, we can pick you up by car near the restaurant "La Peonia." To reach the meeting point, a 15-minute walk through the forest is required.
