Key box: Self-check-in is possible during the specified hours. Outside of these hours, check-in is only possible after prior arrangement with the host. The nearest grocery stores are in Mendrisio (accessible by car) or in Capolago-Riva San Vitale (if arriving by train).

Arrival by car:
The accommodation can be reached from Mendrisio in 30 minutes (13 km) via a winding, concrete mountain road that turns into a dirt road for the last 100 meters. Please note that the mountain road is partially single-lane, which may make crossing with oncoming traffic difficult. In such cases, it may be necessary to reverse to the next passing place.
Getting there by public transport:
A cogwheel train runs from Capolago-Riva San Vitale to the top of the mountain. Get off at the "Bellavista" stop and hike for an hour to Casa Monika Monte Generoso. Upon request, we can pick you up near the train station, and a 15-minute walk through the forest will take you to the meeting point.
